The "PDF Options" dialog contains advanced settings for Win2PDF.

Win2PDF can automatically convert web addresses beginning with "http" and "www" to PDF hyperlinks.  The hyperlinks are outlined in a dashed rectangle.  If you want to disable this automatic URL detection, you can uncheck the "Enable URL detection" check box.  The remaining settings are only used in Win2PDF Pro, and are covered in the "Document Information" and "Document Security" sections of "Win2PDF Pro Settings".

 

When the "Optimize Image File Size" option is checked, Win2PDF compresses all images using JPEG compression.  This results in smaller file sizes, but can reduce the image quality of some images such as black and white scanned documents.  Turning off this option can improve the quality of some types of images, but will also result in larger file sizes.

 

When the "Use JPEG2000 Compression" option is checked, Win2PDF compresses all images using JPEG2000 compression for even smaller file sizes.  This option requires Adobe Reader 6.0 or above to view the compressed PDF file.

 

An administrator can disable or set a default options for all users with the "Win2PDF Admin Utility" available for download at:
