Font Helper Application

The Win2PDF Font Helper is an optional, stand-alone application that can assist Win2PDF in embedding TrueType fonts in a PDF file.  When TrueType fonts are embedded in the PDF file, they will always display the same regardless of the fonts available on the computer used to view the PDF file.  Embedding TrueType fonts will increase the size of the PDF file.

The Win2PDF Font Helper application can be downloaded from the downloads section of the Win2PDF support web site.  When you install the Win2PDF Font Helper application, it automatically configures Win2PDF to embed fonts that are not internally supported by Adobe Reader.  The Font Helper application is only supported in Win2PDF version 2.85 or higher.  The Font Helper changes the way that the PDF file is created, and may help other graphics related problems in PDF files.

The Font Helper application can be uninstalled from the Control Panel "Add/Remove Programs".  Win2PDF will continue to work if the Font Helper application is uninstalled, but fonts will not be included in the PDF file.
