Win2PDF Pro Terminal Server Edition

The Win2PDF Terminal Server Edition (TSE) is a version of our standard Win2PDF product that is adapted for use in a multi-user server environment. It is required for Windows terminal servers, Citrix servers, web servers, and automated report servers. The Win2PDF Pro TSE version has all of the features of Win2PDF TSE, but it also includes support for password protecting PDF files with 40- or 128-bit encryption, and applying a watermark.

Note:  Win2PDF Pro TSE is not used for print servers.  If you would like to install Win2PDF on local PCs from a Windows print server, you can install the standard version of Win2PDF on the server and use Windows printer sharing to make the printer available to each client computer. The licensing for printer sharing requires one purchased standard Win2PDF license per client computer.

• Create PDF documents from any Windows application that supports printing.
• Merge PDF output to the beginning or end of an existing PDF file.
• Web links beginning with "http" or "www" are automatically converted to PDF hyperlinks.
• Integrates with Outlook and Outlook Express e-mail clients to automatically attach PDF files to e-mail messages.
• Send documents to Acrobat Reader® for PalmOS®.
• Custom Windows applications including Visual Basic applications can easily interface with Win2PDF and can control the PDF file name without user intervention.
• Password protecting PDF files with 40 or 128 bit encryption.
• Set file permissions to restrict printing, copying, and future modifications to the document.
• Set the document title, subject, author, and keywords.
• Apply PDF watermark to new PDF file.

• Pentium-compatible PC.
• Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or above, Windows x64, or Windows Server 2003.
• PDF-compatible reader to view the files (see links page).

We do not support Windows 95, 98, Me, or the Macintosh.

Installation

Win2PDF Pro is not available for public download due to the encryption technology. Once the software has been purchased, a download link to this version will be sent to you.

To install the standard Win2PDF Terminal Server Edition for evaluation, download w2pds_setup.exe and run the program. Win2PDF Terminal Server Edition is required for Windows terminal servers, Citrix servers, web servers, and automated report servers.

• The Win2PDF download consists of single self extracting install program that totals 2.6 megabytes.
• The current version of Win2PDF is 3.3.
• Win2PDF will occasionally display a reminder dialog with registration information, and adds an extra page to each document until the product is registered. To remove these notices, you can register the product on the purchase page.
